Dallas, TX MS Cognitive Group: Memory and Attention
Join other patients with multiple sclerosis at UT Southwestern Medical Center for the MS Cognitive Group, in which participants can receive education about MS and the commonly experienced cognitive difficulties such as memory, attention, executive function, language, and visuospatial abilities. The group also teaches evidence-based strategies that have been proven to be effective in compensating for these difficulties.
Week 1: Memory and Attention
- Review important brain structures and their role in MS
- Discuss the relationship between memory and attention, especially as it relates to MS
